This project was a custom home build. The homeowners did not have a lot or house plans. We helped them find property. They had magazine plan ideas for their home, but wanted to modify them. We custom drew a set of prints according to their needs and helped them through the construction loan process. The 4 acre lot was a challenge because it was located above a flood plain zone. We had to cross over the area with a driveway. Water management was a challenge as the homeowners wanted to allow for a walk out basement.

The homeowners are very happy that their utility bills continue to be substantially low. We also suggested blown in insulation to avoid sound transference from the road. The homeowners utility bills continue to be substantially low.

This home was a large footprint Rancher. The open concept basement meant larger steel beams with truss spanning had to be utilized. The kitchen boasts an island that took 2 full slabs of granite. The home has beautiful mahogany doors shipped from California.

4 years later, we built an approximage 1500 square foot in-law addition with garage, all attached with access through a bedroom. The challenge with this addition, was to get county approval. We built their custom kitchen, which included lazy suzan cabinets. The addition has usable crawl space with access to both for storage. It is a conditioned area with concrete floors.

We are happy with our custom home that was built with our own personal design elements and with energy efficiency in mind. We were able to closely work with the builder every step of the way and make changes without issues or hesitation.
